About Festival & College Fest Madness
When you are dealing with a crowd of thousands, consistency is everything. For festival and college gigs, I coordinate directly with your venue's lighting and VJ team so every bass drop on the deck is perfectly synced with your LED visuals and special effects.
A festival set is a different animal compared to a club night. You need someone who knows how to control a massive space, not just someone who plays tracks. My approach to festivals and college fests is built on high-intensity engagement. Whether it is a college cultural fest like SJCE Mysore or a large-scale event, I use a blend of Bollywood bangers, Punjabi hits, and driving Techno to keep the momentum high.
Technical Requirements
To deliver a professional concert-level performance, I require specific industry-standard hardware, specifically 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 units and a DJM 900 mixer. This allows me to pull off the rapid mixing and custom edits that define a festival show. If you have an LED wall, I provide custom visual loops and logo content to integrate with the music, ensuring the audio and video work together to create a full sensory experience.
Crowd Engagement
I don't stand behind the console just to play music. I am on the mic from start to finish, hyping the crowd and calling for energy. If I want the crowd to put their hands up, they do. I have performed at major stages including Sunburn, and I understand the rhythm of a large event. From the warm-up to the final closing track, I focus on reading the crowd and adjusting the set to keep the floor packed.
