Shringara Sharanagati: A Thematic Production
This cluster gives you a deep dive into my full-length solo production, 'Shringara Sharanagati', which explores the gopikas' surrender in love to Krishna, based on the Srimad Bhagavatam. It shows my complete process, from conceptualizing the story and collaborating on original lyrics and music, to the final emotive performance. Abhinaya & Bhava: The Soul of Storytelling
For me, dance is storytelling without words. I focus on deep abhinaya (expression) to convey the nuanced emotions, or 'bhava', of a character, whether it's the playful mischief of a gopika or the profound longing of Radha. This cluster showcases my specialization in creating choreography that is rich in emotional depth and narrative detail.
Nritya & Karanas: The Grammar of Movement
This section highlights the pure dance (nritta) and the dynamic vocabulary of karanas from the Natyashastra. I choreograph pieces that are energetic and technically intricate, focusing on clean lines, groundedness (azhutham), and the sheer joy (maja) of movement for both solo and group performances.
