About Dance Choreography Services
I see choreography as a mix of bhakti (devotion), creativity, and pure maja (joy). For me, every piece starts quietly, picking up small moments from life, and turning them into stories that need no words. While Bharatanatyam is my base, I love bringing in new ideas to keep the art alive.
What I Offer
- Custom Bharatanatyam choreography for solo or group - anything from a short piece to a full-length thematic production
- Deep storytelling through dance, often drawing inspiration from the Ramayana, Srimad Bhagavatam, and other classics
- Original music and lyrics, collaborating closely with poets and musicians
- Focus on expressive abhinaya, dynamic karanas, and intricate jatis that make each performance personal
Fusion & Unique Touches
I come from a puppeteers’ family, so sometimes I mix dance with Bombeyaata (Karnataka string puppetry) for something special. If you’re looking for dance and puppetry fusion, or want to try something out-of-the-box, I get genuinely excited.
My Process
Every choreography is original and collaborative. I put a lot of heart into each piece, so I do expect the work we create together to stay unique to you.
I’m based in Bengaluru but happy to work with you wherever you are. Let’s talk about your ideas and bring your story to life on stage.

My Story
Dance for me is family, faith, and stories. Amma’s tales of Ramayana, her bhakti - shaped me. Dhaatu Puppet Theater, puppets everywhere, it’s always been home. My guru, Praveen Kumar, showed me what the stage really means. That first time in Madras, 2011, just watching. Fourteen years later, I’m there, performing. Kālāya tasmai namaha. I study Natyashastra, chase karanas, find art in rain, in people, in life. For me, dance is everywhere. Blessed.
My Work
Bharatanatyam Performances, Classes, Choreography, Dance-Puppetry - I do solo thematic shows, teach all ages at Kalāmārga, create dance-puppetry fusion, and choreograph.
Storytelling Through Dance - I love bringing stories like 'Shringara Sharanagati' to life, making emotions the heart of my Bharatanatyam.
My Dance Style - Light feet, azhutham (groundedness), and lots of karanas. My research in Natyashastra shapes my teaching.
Kalāmārga & Rasa Rahasya - Beginner and intermediate Bharatanatyam classes, plus the Rasa Rahasya course for those wanting to dive deep.
Dance-Puppetry Fusion Shows - I mix Bharatanatyam and Bombeyaata puppetry, like in 'Rukmini Parinaya'—especially fun for kids.
