For me, dance is about bhakti and finding art in everyday moments. I teach at Kalāmārga (The Path of Art) because I believe learning Bharatanatyam should go beyond just steps - it’s about weaving emotion and life into every move.
Open to all ages, whether you’re a kid excited about your first mudra or an adult wanting to try something new. I keep my batches small so I can actually see each student, not just a crowd. Personal attention is a big deal here.
Beginner classes are all about getting the basics right. If you already know your adavus and want more, I offer advanced workshops. My PhD in Natyashastra means we get deep into the theory, not just the practice.
Here, you don’t just learn in a classroom. I make sure students get to perform in events like Nrityarpanam, always with a full live ensemble - vocalists, mridangam, flute, veena - because nothing teaches you like being on stage.
My teaching is strict, but it’s also about finding the maja (fun). Sometimes things go wrong - a jhumki slips, you mess up a step - just yenjoy (enjoy) the moment. You’ll grow as a dancer, and as a person.

My Story
My Work
Bharatanatyam Performances, Classes, Choreography, Dance Puppetry - I do solo thematic shows, teach all ages at Kalāmārga, create dance-puppetry fusion, and choreograph.
Storytelling Through Dance - I love bringing stories like 'Shringara Sharanagati' to life, making emotions the heart of my Bharatanatyam.
My Dance Style - Light feet, azhutham (groundedness), and lots of karanas. My research in Natyashastra shapes my teaching.
Kalāmārga & Rasa Rahasya - Beginner and intermediate Bharatanatyam classes, plus the Rasa Rahasya course for those wanting to dive deep.
Dance Puppetry Fusion Shows - I mix Bharatanatyam and Bombeyaata puppetry, like in 'Rukmini Parinaya'—especially fun for kids.
