This is the first glimpse into my world of dance. It’s a collection of moments that capture the devotion, energy, and joy that I bring to my performances and my teaching. Each image and video here tells a part of my story as an artist and a guru.
Kalāmārga: My School of Dance
At Kalāmārga, The Path of Art, I offer Bharatanatyam training for all ages and skill levels. I keep my batches small to provide personal attention, focusing on strong foundations for beginners and offering real stage experience for all students through events like Nrityarpanam.
Stage Performances & Choreography
This is a collection of moments from my solo thematic productions and other performances across India. My choreography blends the traditional grammar of Bharatanatyam with my own interpretations of stories from texts like the Ramayana and Srimad Bhagavatam.
Advanced Studies: Karanas & Rasa
For dancers looking to deepen their knowledge, I offer specialized workshops based on my PhD research in the Natyashastra. These courses cover the theory and practice of the 108 karanas, dance aesthetics (rasa and bhava), and the principles of choreography.
Kalāmārga Nrityotsava: A Festival of Dance
As a curator, I organize the Kalāmārga Nrityotsava, a solo thematic classical dance festival held annually in Bengaluru. This event is my effort to create a platform for artists to present unique productions and to enrich the city's cultural landscape.
Press & Accolades
I am filled with gratitude for the recognition my work has received from esteemed critics and publications. These reviews and features are a testament to the guidance of my gurus and the support of my family and collaborators.
Behind the Scenes: My Practice & Philosophy
Dance is not just what happens on stage; it is a constant, joyful process of exploration and practice. This is an unfiltered look into my daily sadhana, my moments of inspiration, and the philosophy that art can be found in every moment of life.
