About this collection
We believe that rehearsal is where the actual growth happens. Before we record any final video, we spend hours in our studio refining footwork and fixing posture. It is normal to mess up a step a dozen times, and we find that laughing through the frustration makes the final performance much more rewarding for everyone.
Our studio in Sahakarnagar is not just a place to get the steps right, but a safe space to get them wrong. When we put together a routine, we treat it like a conversation between dancers. You will see us debating over the rhythm, fixing the alignment of our mudras, or just taking a break because we cannot stop laughing at a blooper.
Why practice matters
We emphasize that consistency beats intensity. Whether you are learning Kathak or a fast-paced Bollywood routine, we prioritize the process. Our students often start with high anxiety about looking perfect for the camera. We break that down by recording raw rehearsals first. Once you see yourself making a mistake and realizing it is not a big deal, you relax. That relaxation is what actually makes you a better dancer.
The atmosphere
Expect a bit of chaos during our practice sessions. We encourage students to voice their opinions on the choreography. If a step feels awkward, we change it. If the energy is dipping, we take five. Our goal is for you to walk out of the studio feeling lighter than when you walked in. We are sisters Divya and Deepti, and we started DivnDee because we wanted a space that felt less like a classroom and more like a second home. We are the ones laughing loudest when a step goes wrong during rehearsals, and we are right there with you when you finally nail it.
