About Custom Wardrobes & Bedroom Furniture
I do not believe in standard sizes because every bedroom is different. I build floor-to-ceiling wardrobes using 18mm BWP marine-grade plywood, not blockboard, so you get a structure that resists moisture and holds screws for years. Whether it is integrating a study unit into a corner or fitting a sliding wardrobe into a tight wall, my process starts with a 3D design to ensure zero wasted gaps.
Built for Mumbai Living
Living in Mumbai means dealing with humidity and limited space. That is why I rely exclusively on 18mm BWP (Boiling Water Proof) marine-grade plywood for my wardrobe carcasses. Unlike standard wood, this prevents the swelling you often see in bedroom furniture after a few monsoon seasons. All internal surfaces are lined with 0.8mm laminate to keep everything clean and easy to maintain.
The 3D Advantage
Many people worry that a custom design will not look like the final product. I eliminate this risk by creating a 3D visualization of your bedroom layout first. You can see where your dresser, side tables, and wardrobe will sit before we order a single sheet of ply. This is specifically helpful for children’s rooms or small bedrooms where every inch, from the floor to the ceiling, needs to be utilized effectively.
Hardware That Lasts
A wardrobe is only as good as its movement. I use hydraulic soft-close hinges for hinged doors and heavy-duty sliding channels for sliding wardrobes. For drawers, I prefer telescopic channels that don’t jam. My goal is to install furniture that stays functional without requiring constant repairs.
