Turn daily routines into bonding experiences. Join my small-group workshops to learn how storytelling can teach your child empathy, kindness, and resilience.

I believe stories are a universal language that everyone understands, even if they don't speak the words. This is a clip from a session at Bombay International School, where I shared a Hindi tale with students. Seeing their captivated faces, completely lost in the story, reminds me why I do what I do.

This is what transformation looks like. Meet Sambhavi, a busy IT professional and mother who joined my training to better connect with her kids. This is the start of her journey from just telling stories to becoming a storyteller who is now changing kids' lives.

Anger, fear, jealousy. Our children feel such big emotions, but often lack the words to express them. I believe stories are the simplest and most powerful tool we have to teach them about emotional intelligence and give them a safe space to understand their feelings.

This is a peek into one of my training workshops. It's not a lecture; it's an interactive space where we practice, share, and get real feedback. My goal is for every parent and teacher to leave with the confidence and tools to tell stories that leave listeners spellbound.

I talk a lot about using stories to help with bullying because I know how it feels. When I was 11, I was bullied, and it was a lonely and scary experience. Stories were my refuge, and they gave me the heroes and the hope I needed. This is a big part of my "why".

Does your child get bored when you read in a flat tone? One of the first things we learn in my training is voice modulation. Here are a few simple ways you can change your voice to make any story more exciting and keep your little one hooked.

If you want to make learning fun for your kids, create lasting memories, and build positive habits, my Storytelling Training is for you. I offer both online and offline (Mumbai) small-group sessions to give you personal attention.

About this collection

I don't just teach theory; I focus on the small, practical details that actually make a difference. In my small-group sessions, we practice voice modulation and facial expressions so you don't lose your voice or your child's interest after five minutes. It is about building a toolkit you can use tonight at bedtime.

Storytelling is so much more than just reading from a book. It is the bridge between a parent and a child. When I teach, my goal is to help you move beyond reciting text to creating a shared experience. We spend time in my 8-hour certification program breaking down exactly how to use your voice, pace, and props to bring a story to life.

Why Emotional Intelligence Matters

We often focus on academic growth, but storytelling is the most effective way to teach social and emotional learning (SEL). Whether you are dealing with a child who struggles with big emotions like anger or jealousy, or you simply want to instill values like kindness, stories provide a safe space to explore these feelings. I show you how to pick the right tales and ask the right questions so those lessons actually stick.

The Training Difference

I keep my batches small, usually 5-8 people, because I believe you need personalized feedback to find your unique storyteller voice. We cover:

  • Voice Modulation: How to change your pitch and tempo so you don't sound flat.
  • Performance Techniques: Using facial expressions and small props to keep listeners hooked.
  • Lesson Planning: How to structure your own sessions for school or home.

You walk away with more than just techniques; you get a library of age-appropriate stories and a support network of fellow parents and teachers. Whether you are in Mumbai for an in-person session at Little Reader's Nook or joining me online, we will make sure you leave with the confidence to start telling stories that resonate.
