On the Runway: The LeeEla Couture Showcase
These runway looks are more than just showpieces. Every gown and lehenga here highlights the fit, movement, and intricate handwork I bring to the custom outfits I create for my clients in Delhi and beyond.
A proud moment for me on the runway at the Celebrity Business Awards. My collection of custom gowns, including these jewel-toned green and blue pieces, was showcased on the ramp. It’s always amazing to see my designs come to life.

About this collection
When you see these gowns on the runway, pay attention to the structural integrity. I build my custom pieces with corset-style boning and professional padding, ensuring your outfit stays perfectly in place and fits exactly like it should, whether you are on a stage or the dance floor at your own wedding.
Designing for the runway gives me a chance to experiment, but the techniques I use here are the same ones I apply to every client's order. When you see a gown in this gallery, that level of precision—the heavy-duty zips, the precise hemline, the layering of the can-can—is what you get when we work together in my Tilak Nagar studio.
From Runway Concept to Reality
Many of the pieces you see here started as client requests for specific looks. Whether it is a replica of a high-end designer gown or a completely original bridal lehenga, my process is identical. We start by discussing the fabric fall and the type of work—be it dori, crystal, or beadwork—and then we map out the construction.
Why the Build Matters
An outfit looks different on the hanger than it does on the body. That is why I focus on the 'build' of the garment. For my gowns, I use internal structures like bra cups and hard-net layers to ensure the flare stays voluminous without being uncomfortable. For pre-draped sarees, I use professional heat-set pleating so the drape does not fall out of place when you move.
Customization for Your Budget
I often hear clients say they want a celebrity look but fear the price tag. My goal is to make that accessible. By sourcing the right fabrics and handling all embroidery in-house, I can replicate complex designs while staying within your budget. If you see a silhouette you love here, show me the photo. We can recreate the design, adjust the handwork to suit your preferences, and ensure the fit is made-to-measure for your unique body type.
The Leeela Couture
I am Dev Singh. I started The LeeEla Couture because I believe high fashion should be custom-fitted to you, not just bought off a rack. I focus on the intricate handwork and structural details that make an outfit stand out, whether it is for a red carpet event or your wedding day.
