Behind the Scenes: How We Build Retail Spaces
See how our designs move from blueprints to reality. We take you through the site visits, structural framing, and the honest, hands-on work that builds a retail space.
A work-in-progress walkthrough of the Weatherseal experience center. This video shows the space taking shape, from the initial framing and bold blue paint application to the installation of custom wooden cabinetry.
Our team and collaborators on-site, installing the custom wooden shelving units. This phase is crucial for ensuring the quality and precision of the built-in furniture that will become the store's backbone.

About Behind the Scenes: The Build Process
Building a retail space is a messy, rewarding process of coordination. You will see us working on-site, managing the fit-out teams, and handling structural challenges like false ceiling integration or custom cabinetry alignment. We believe this hands-on supervision is the only way to ensure the final finish matches the vision in our sketches.
For us, the project does not stop at the 3D render. The real work happens on-site, where we coordinate with contractors to ensure the vision translates into a functional, inviting retail store. When you are looking at site photographs, you are looking at the core of our practice.
Take our recent experience center for Weatherseal in South Delhi. What started as an empty shell was transformed by coordinating electrical layouts with bold paint applications and custom wooden cabinetry. This phase requires constant vigilance. We deal with everything from the raw framing of display partitions to the precise placement of lighting fixtures.
Our approach to retail interior construction relies on:
- Direct site supervision to monitor quality.
- Detailed coordination between flooring, RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plans), and HVAC ducting.
- Hands-on management of fit-out teams to ensure custom joinery fits the space.
We document this not just for our records, but to show clients the reality of the process. Whether it is a boutique showroom or an experience center, the quality of the final finish depends on the discipline applied during these construction phases. If you are planning a store renovation or building a new commercial space, this is the level of attention we bring to every square foot.
