Design for me is not about chasing accolades, but about the 15-year journey of telling stories through spaces. While being recognized on the AD100 list for eight consecutive years is humbling, these moments are truly a reflection of the trust my clients place in us.

Being featured on the AD100 list for the eighth year in a row is a surreal and humbling feeling. This recognition from Architectural Digest is a celebration of the 15 year journey of my practice, built on authenticity, hard work, and the belief that every design should tell a story.

A proud moment at the AD100 awards. This trophy is a small reminder of why my team and I do what we do, and why we love every bit of it, even on the toughest days. I am so grateful to be counted among the best designers and architects in the country.

About Awards & Recognition

Receiving the AD100 honor for eight consecutive years is a significant milestone, but for me, these awards serve as a reminder of the thousands of specific, on-site decisions made to ensure a space feels authentic. It validates the time we spend working directly with local artisans and sourcing antique materials that simply cannot be replicated with off-the-shelf solutions.

When you look at a space, you often see the finished result—the lighting, the textures, the furniture placement. What you don't see are the challenges that led to that outcome. The recognition from Architectural Digest is meaningful because it acknowledges the difficulty of balancing heritage with modern functionality.

My practice was born out of a desire to preserve history while adapting it for today's life, whether in a heritage office renovation in Mumbai or a private residence. Being an AD100 designer for eight years hasn't changed my approach; if anything, it has encouraged me to dig deeper into the 'why' of every project.

I believe that a workspace or a home should not look like a showroom. It should feel like a human being lives or works there. This means choosing to work with karigars (artisans) for hand-painted murals instead of buying prints, and prioritizing reclaimed materials over new ones. It is a slow, often labor-intensive process, but it is the only way to ensure the final result has soul. Whether you are looking for interior architecture in Dubai or a boutique office layout in Santacruz, my goal remains the same: to create an environment that feels uniquely yours.

I started this practice 15 years ago with the belief that a space should reflect its owner, not a catalogue. While being listed on the AD100 for eight years is a privilege, my focus is always on the small, handwritten details that turn a room into a home.
