Spaces that tell a story beyond the aesthetics. From creative offices to heritage renovations, I focus on blending deep-rooted tradition with the practical needs of modern work.

This teal conference room at Maddock Films is one of my favorite creations because it challenges the idea of a typical boardroom. I envisioned a bold, versatile space for both daytime meetings and intimate evening dinners, using a rich, monochromatic color scheme and a grand solid wood table to create an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply inviting.

For the expansive central lounge at the new Maddock office, I chose to create several intimate seating areas instead of one large one. This approach encourages smaller, more personal conversations, turning a large hall into a series of warm, inviting corners for creative collaboration, all anchored by timeless wall paneling and a classic crystal chandelier.

Designing a clinic requires a delicate balance between luxury and tranquility. In this waiting lounge for Ra Clinic, I used a base of soft, neutral tones and clean lines, then introduced pops of vibrant color through the client's personal art collection. The result is a space that feels more like a serene, upscale living room than a clinical waiting area.

There is no greater compliment than when a client, especially a storyteller like Imtiaz Ali, feels a space truly reflects who they are. Our collaboration is built on years of conversation and trust, allowing me to design from intuition. This video captures his thoughts on how we created a rustic, personal office that feels like a natural extension of his creative world.

This intimate, wood-paneled study at the Maddock office was designed as a quiet retreat for reflection and focused conversation. The deep wood tones, classic leather armchairs, and vintage Ram Durbar painting create a sense of tradition and calm, proving that even within a bustling office, you can carve out spaces that feel soulful and secluded.

In Mumbai, smart storage is essential. Here, what appears to be a simple mint green paneled wall is actually floor to ceiling storage, seamlessly integrated into the design. I paired this functional element with a bold, floral sofa and eclectic cushions to create a vibrant lounge that is as practical as it is beautiful.

Sometimes, the perfect piece for a project presents a unique challenge. This video shows the process of craning a massive, 10 foot tall antique bookcase seven storeys up to its new home in the Maddock office. It’s a testament to the fact that I will go to any length to bring a design vision to life, no matter the logistical hurdles.

It is a profound honor to be entrusted with projects of national importance. Here, I am with the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, discussing the renovation of Vidhan Bhavan. This work is a privilege, allowing me to blend modern design with the deep-rooted history of our state's most significant landmarks.

About Featured

You might see a pristine conference room in the photos, but what you do not see is the logistical puzzle behind it. When I needed to place a 10-foot antique bookcase in the Maddock office, I did not settle for a modular replica. We craned the original, seven stories up, into the heart of the workspace. That is how I work, because if a piece is essential for the soul of the room, I find a way to make it fit, no matter the hurdle.

I approach every workspace as a narrative. Whether it is an expansive office for a production house or a soothing dermatological clinic, my process is the same: strip away the corporate stiffness and find the character.

In Mumbai, where space is at a premium, I focus on hidden functionality. You will see this in the Maddock office projects, where mint-green wall paneling hides floor-to-ceiling storage, and conference rooms transition seamlessly into evening dinner settings. I rely on a team of skilled karigars to craft bespoke furniture that feels authentic, like leather Chesterfield lounges, reclaimed hardwood, and custom murals that ground the room in personality.

For heritage projects like the Vidhan Bhavan renovation, my approach shifts to preservation. It is about honoring the history of the walls while integrating modern electrical and spatial needs.

I do not start with moodboards because I believe design should grow from conversation, not clippings from a magazine. If you are looking for a space that reflects your journey rather than a catalog template, we will likely get along well.
