About Behind the Moves: Choreography & Training
When you book us for choreography, you are not getting a generic routine. We spend 6 to 8 hours with you at our CR Park studio, breaking down every count and movement. We focus heavily on posture, timing, and lead-follow technique, so you feel confident and comfortable—not just dancing, but actually owning the floor.
Our Approach to Choreography
Dance is a conversation, and our job is to help you speak it fluently. Whether you are prepping for a Sangeet, an office launch, or a birthday bash, we tailor our training to your comfort level.
What Happens in the Studio
- Structured Rehearsals: We schedule 6 to 8 hours of private training. This isn't just about learning steps; it is about muscle memory.
- Technical Foundation: We don't skip the basics. We fix your posture, sharpen your lead-and-follow, and ensure your footwork is clean, whether you are doing Salsa, Bachata, or Pachanga.
- Homework Support: You will receive recorded practice videos after every session. This lets you drill the movements between rehearsals so our time in the studio is always efficient.
- Performance Polish: We include professional music cutting and splicing to make sure your track hits every cue, and we provide costume and footwear consultations to ensure you are stable on stage.
Styles We Craft
From fast-paced Latin shows with high energy to sensual Bachata or group Rueda de Casino formations, we design routines that stand out. We do not believe in cookie-cutter performances; we build routines around your unique dynamic. If you want to include lifts or dips, we teach them safely and effectively, ensuring you look like a pro even if you are just starting out. Our goal is to make sure that when you step on the floor, you feel the rhythm, not the nerves.
