About The Grind: On-Field Training
What sets us apart on the ground is the rotation across five specific wicket types. We do not just rely on one surface; we cycle through turf, astro, and cement wickets to challenge how you handle bounce, seam, and high-velocity reflexes. You get exposure to bowling machines and side-arm throwers every session, so you are not just hitting balls—you are mastering shot selection and building muscle memory that holds up when you are under pressure in a real league match.
At Delhi Cricket Hub, the grind isn't just about showing up; it is about how you train. Whether you are a beginner or eyeing a spot in the DDCA, my coaching model is designed to simulate match intensity. My training methodology breaks down the game into four pillars: technique, fitness, game awareness, and mental toughness.
Why Our Training Methodology Works
- Surface Variety: We rotate across 2 Turf wickets for professional match simulation, 1 Astro Turf for consistent training during the rainy season, and 2 Cement wickets specifically for high-velocity reflex work.
- Modern Tech: I utilize bowling machines and side-arm throwers to ensure you face high-quality deliveries consistently, not just based on the availability of a net bowler.
- Integrated Fitness: Cricket is an endurance sport. Our on-field training incorporates agility drills, yoga, and functional strength work so you can maintain concentration during long hours at the crease or in the field.
Coaching Approach
I personally oversee the sessions at our Rohini and Paschim Vihar locations. As a BCCI Level 1 and NIS qualified coach, I focus on the 'why' behind every shot and delivery. We don't just practice; we analyze. If you are struggling with your cover drive or your release point, we fix the technique before it becomes a bad habit. This hands-on, detail-oriented approach is why our boys are consistently hitting centuries and making it to the Delhi Premier League and other top-tier competitions.
