About Skill Development: In the Nets
We don't just ask players to hit balls for three hours. We rotate through turf, cement, and astroturf wickets to simulate different match conditions. My coaches and I personally watch every session, using video analysis to spot flaws in your stance or grip immediately. It’s about building muscle memory that holds up in high-pressure matches, not just hitting for the sake of it.
Technique is everything. In our nets, we break your game down to basics because a solid foundation is the only way to reach the district or state level. We use video analysis to ensure your high elbow and footwork are spot on before moving to advanced drills.
Why Our Net Practice is Different
- Wicket Variety: We use turf for match simulation, cement for raw speed, and astroturf to help you handle bounce. You learn to adapt to any playing condition you might face in a real tournament.
- Technical Correction: My coaching staff doesn't just stand around. We are constantly checking your grip, your back-lift, and your bowling action. If something is off, we fix it there and then.
- Batting & Bowling Focus: Whether you are working on your defensive shots or trying to master an off-cutter, we tailor the drills to your specific role in the team.
We run our sessions in Rohini and Kirari, focusing on intensive 3-hour windows that combine drills, match simulation, and fitness. We have seen players come in struggling with their stance and leave months later with the confidence to face fast bowling in DDCA league matches. It is hard work, but we are a family here. Sab Baba Shyam ki kirpa hai, but the effort you put into these nets is what makes you a champion.
Shree Sawariya Cricket Academy
At SSCA, I treat every student like my own kid. I am NIS and ICC certified, but I believe the real learning happens when we are sweating it out together in the nets, correcting grips and discussing strategy. Come join our family; we work hard, play harder, and grow together.
