In the nets, we focus on high-volume repetition to build that match-winning stamina. When a player hits 200 runs off 150 balls, it is not just about raw talent—it is about the specific conditioning drills we run to ensure they maintain focus and scoring rate even deep into the innings.
Building Match-Winning Batters
Modern cricket is not just about playing good shots; it is about stamina, concentration, and game awareness. At Delhi Cricket Hub, our batting curriculum is designed to push players beyond their comfort zones. We do not believe in shortcuts.
The DCH Methodology
- High-Volume Repetition: We utilize specialized side-arm practice and bowling machines to simulate match speeds. This helps our players develop muscle memory for every shot, whether it is a cover drive or a pull.
- Technical Correction: Every session involves video analysis where we review footage of net practices. This allows us to spot flaws in stance or backlift before they become bad habits.
- Mental Toughness: We run pressure drills where batters are set specific targets. Can you rotate the strike under pressure? Can you build an innings when the team is 20 for 3? That is the mindset we build.
Results on the Field
We let our scorecards do the talking. Our students, including Nikhil Malik, Laksh Narang, and Swarnim Bansal, have consistently notched up double centuries in the DDCA Under-19 and Under-16 leagues. These are not flukes. These scores come from training sessions that treat every net practice like a real match.
