About Sacred Mandap Designs
People often worry about their mandap looking wilted by the time the pheras start, especially under the sun. I solve this by balancing fresh local flowers with high-quality artificial blooms. This ensures your floral pillars and ceiling hangings stay lush, vibrant, and picture-perfect from the first ritual to the very last.
When I design a mandap, I focus on two things: the sanctity of the ritual and the backdrop for your photos. Working across Lalitpur and Jhansi, I’ve learned that the mandap is almost always the most photographed spot of your entire wedding.
Traditional or Modern? If you want that timeless look, I lean into heavy marigold strings and structured, solid pillars. It keeps things grounded. But if you are looking for something different, I love working with open-air designs. I have built multi-tiered, architectural structures that feel grander and less enclosed, which is perfect for daytime ceremonies.
Built to Last The biggest challenge in our region is the heat. Real flowers have a short lifespan under the sun. To handle this, I use a specific mix—about 60% fresh local blooms for the fragrance and visual appeal, and 40% high-grade artificial flowers to keep the structure looking full and sharp for hours. You get the real flower experience without the wilting.
Custom Design Elements Whether it’s a romantic pink-and-white theme, a dramatic red rose canopy, or a unique spiraling floral pillar, I handle the construction personally. My team and I don't just put up drapes; we build custom frameworks, fix the lighting for night ceremonies, and ensure your mandap looks just as stunning in person as it does in your wedding film.
If you have a specific vision or a photo you have saved, show it to me. We will recreate it or tweak it to fit your venue’s space perfectly.
