For these portraits, I don't just ask you to smile. I often work with low-key lighting and shadow play to create that moody, cinematic look you see here. Whether we are shooting in a hotel room or a quiet corner of your wedding venue, I look for that one specific angle where the light hits your face perfectly, bringing out the intricate details of your jewelry and outfit.
Many couples worry about looking stiff in front of the camera, but these portraits are about how you feel on your big day. My process relies on movement and natural interactions rather than forced poses. By using techniques like dramatic rim lighting, lens flare, or stripping the color away for a timeless black and white finish, I aim to create images that look like stills from a movie. I especially love focusing on small, often overlooked details—the way a dupatta falls, the curve of a smile, or the texture of your henna.
