I focus on the prep work before the polish ever touches your nails. For every manicure and pedicure, I perform a precise Russian dry manicure using an E-file to deep-clean the cuticle area. This step is essential because it removes dead skin from the nail plate, which significantly improves product retention and prevents lifting, so your gel polish stays crisp and chip-free for weeks.
A great manicure is not just about the color; it is about the longevity of the application. Whether you visit my studio in Malad West or book me for a home service anywhere in Mumbai, my process remains consistent. I start by sanitizing the nail bed and performing a careful dry manicure to remove excess cuticle skin without the use of water. This ensures the base coat bonds directly to your nail, preventing the lifting that often happens with standard manicures.
For feet, I apply the same level of care, ensuring your skin is treated right and your polish is perfectly cured. I use high-quality gel polishes designed to resist chipping, whether you choose a timeless nude, a bold red, or a bright summer shade.
One thing I always tell my clients is that safe removal is just as important as the application. Never peel or pick at your gel polish at home, as this strips layers off your natural nail and weakens them. If you see growth or lifting, come to me for a professional soak-off. I carefully debulk the product and use the proper chemical soak-off method to ensure your natural nails stay healthy and strong underneath.
