The magic of cat-eye nails is all in the movement. When the light hits the magnetic particles, it creates a shifting, 3D depth that standard polish cannot match. Whether you want a soft, pearlescent 'velvet' effect or a sharp, galactic line, I carefully manipulate the magnetic wand to give you that specific, mesmerizing shimmer.
Why magnetic nails are a favorite
This style, often called 'cat-eye' polish, contains tiny iron particles. When I use a magnetic wand over wet gel polish, those particles react to the magnet, pulling them into patterns that create a 3D effect. It is a subtle but high-impact look that adds instant dimension to your nails.
Styles to choose from
- Velvet Nails: If you prefer a soft, diffused shimmer, this is the way to go. It looks like crushed velvet fabric on your nails, perfect for an elegant, understated style.
