About AfroDesi Chronicles
These tracks aren't just simple radio edits. When I build an AfroDesi set, I’m matching the swing of Afro-house with the storytelling of Bollywood, like throwing 'In Dino' over a heavy Afro rhythm. It’s technical work. I have to keep the vocal clarity sharp while pushing that low-end frequency so the bass hits right on a proper club system. You’re not just getting a song, you’re getting a piece of the set I’d play at a peak-time festival.
The AfroDesi Chronicles is my attempt to bridge the gap between global electronic dance music and our roots. When you hire me, you aren't booking a jukebox that plays the same top 40 tracks. You are getting a curated journey.
My approach is to analyze the bpm and harmonic key of iconic Bollywood hits and fuse them with Afro-house grooves. Tracks like my 'Muqabala x F**k The Beat' edit or 'Wo Lamhe x Alameyo' require precise EQ balancing. Afrobeat relies on the swing, that triplet-feel percussion, which can clash with the straight 4/4 beats of electronic music if not processed correctly.
I bring this energy to private parties, wedding afterparties, and club gigs across Bengaluru.
