About this collection

Most of these tracks were born in late-night studio sessions where I took a song I loved—like a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan classic—and just couldn't resist flipping the bassline. I don't follow a strict commercial schedule for these releases; they happen when the creative vibe is right, and I often share them as free downloads for the BassFamily because music is meant to be shared, not just locked away.

My sound has always been about the intersection of tradition and sub-bass energy. When I started 15 years ago with just cracked software in a tiny room, I was obsessed with how to bridge the gap between Indian melodies and modern electronica. That obsession turned into my 'Desi Dubs' and 'Indo-House' projects.

Why I create these releases

Every track listed here—whether it's a remix of 'Sanson Ki Mala' or a new Drum & Bass edit—is an experiment. I treat my studio like a lab. I don't just put a beat over a vocal; I try to respect the original energy while giving it enough 'bhasad' (mayhem) to work on a club sound system. If you listen closely to my flips, you'll hear the focus on organic textures like live tabla or flute, which I often layer underneath the digital production.

Access and Community

I believe in the 'Shor Bazaar' philosophy: music is for everyone. That’s why I frequently drop these edits as free downloads. It’s my way of giving back to the community that supported me when I was just a bedroom producer. These aren't polished, radio-ready tracks designed to fit a specific algorithm. They are raw, personal, and sometimes a bit weird—exactly how I like my music.

If you want to hear these edits live, that’s where the real magic happens. Playing them on a massive system is completely different from streaming them. I’m always looking for new talent to feature in my compilations, so if you’re a producer working in this fusion space, let’s connect.

I’m a DJ and producer who grew up playing with cracked software in a small room, and 15 years later, I’m still chasing that same rush. I don't do cookie-cutter sets; I mix Bollywood, Punjabi folk, and hard-hitting basslines to create a sound that’s raw, real, and completely off-script.
