How I Approach a Set
When I get behind the decks, my goal is to tell a story through sound. I do not chase industry polish or generic club tracks. Instead, I dig into the crates to find the right elements. I might take a classic Bollywood vocal line and drop it over a heavy UK Bhangra beat or a modern Amapiano groove. It is about taking what is familiar and flipping it until it feels brand new.
