Behind the Decks
My foundation is real hip-hop, but my sets are designed to be journeys. When you hear a 'Puppeteer Blend,' you are hearing two worlds collide. I take the nostalgia of Bollywood or Punjabi tracks and layer them with the grit of West Coast rap, jungle breaks, or house beats. It is about creating that 'what was that?' moment that makes the dance floor go wild.
Where I Bring the Heat
My experience spans from massive festival stages like Red Bull Dance Your Style to intimate lounge sessions. Whether it is a peak-hour club set or a sundowner brunch, I adapt to the vibe.
- High Energy: For parties and dance battles, I focus on heavy bass, unexpected drops, and active MCing to keep the crowd hyped.
- Lounge/Vibe: For store launches or cocktail hours, I dig for rare samples, lofi beats, and neo-soul to keep the atmosphere sophisticated without killing the conversation.
The Setup
I travel with my own Pioneer DJ controller and laptop. For larger events, I just need a solid PA system, booth monitors, and a reliable console table. I always aim to arrive 45 minutes early for a soundcheck because, for me, the audio quality is non-negotiable.
