About Atmospheric Lighting & Effects
When I design a candle wall, I focus on safety as much as the glow. It is not just about stacking lights, it is about engineering a backdrop that stays steady and keeps your stage perfectly lit for photos, regardless of the venue's existing conditions.
Lighting is a design element, not just a utility. For receptions, I move beyond standard focus lights by using an overhead truss system to hold crystal chandeliers. This creates depth and draws the eye to the couple.
For first dances or grand entries, I integrate low-lying fog and cold sparklers to create a cinematic shift in the room's energy. These effects are managed by a dedicated production team to ensure they hit the mark without overwhelming the space.
If you prefer a softer, more intimate look, I use candle walls or wisteria tunnels. These installations are crafted with fire-safe materials and positioned to create warm, flattering portraits for both the couple and their guests. Whether you are hosting at a banquet hall or an open lawn, the goal is to use fixtures like Moving Heads or fairy lights to redefine the space. We talk through your specific event flow to ensure every lighting change, from the entrance to the cake cutting, feels natural and intentional.
