Basic At-Home Balloon & Foil Setup
Core Materials
- Ceiling & Wall Balloons: 150 to 200 standard metallic or pastel latex balloons. Includes a mix of balloons suspended from the ceiling with curling ribbons and bunches stuck to the walls.
- Foil Lettering: 1 standard foil balloon banner (16 inch letters in gold, silver, or rose gold for birthdays or anniversaries).
- Accent Foils: 10 to 15 shape foil balloons (hearts, stars, or basic characters) strategically placed around the room.
- Romantic Additions: 500 grams of artificial or local fresh red rose petals scattered on the bed or floor in a heart shape or spelling out a short word.
Equipment & Setup
- Lighting: 1 to 2 standard warm white LED fairy light strings hung along walls or draped over curtains.
- Adhesives: Double sided removable tape used for sticking balloons to ceilings to create a helium effect.
- Labor: Complete setup done by 1 decorator at your home within 1.5 to 2 hours.
Exclusions
- No iron ring stands, heavy backdrops, neon signs, customized cutouts, or actual helium balloons.
Circular Ring & Balloon Arch Backdrop
Backdrop Structure
- Framework: 1 large circular iron ring stand (approximately 6 to 7 feet in diameter).
- Backdrop Filling: Choice of a foil fringe tinsel curtain, standard sequin panels, or a plain fabric cover over the ring.
- Illuminated Signage: 1 standard pre-made generic neon sign like "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary".
Balloons & Decor
- Balloon Garland: Thick organic half or full balloon arch covering the ring using 250 to 300 premium chrome, metallic, or pastel balloons.
- Thematic Accents: Small thematic additions mixed into the balloons like 3D golden butterfly stickers, star foil balloons, artificial florals, or dried pampas grass.
Floor Props & Lighting
- Marquee Numbers: 1 to 2 large light-up LED marquee numbers (3 to 4 feet tall) for age or anniversary year.
- Cake Table Decor: Basic cylindrical cake stand decorated with a matching balloon cluster around the base.
- Lighting: Warm fairy lights woven into the foil curtain or balloon arch for ambient lighting.
Execution & Logistics
- Logistics: Setup takes roughly 2.5 hours by a 2 person team. Includes delivery, full assembly, and post-event dismantling of reusable props.

- Main Backdrop: Large 8x8 foot or 10x8 foot backdrop. Choice between a custom printed flex banner, artificial green grass wall, or premium shimmer wall.
- Welcome Area: Customized welcome sunboard on a wooden easel stand placed at the entrance featuring the guest of honor's name and theme graphics.
Thematic Props & Cutouts
- Sunboard Cutouts: 3 to 5 customized high quality sunboard cutouts up to life size (specific cartoon characters, playing cards, or jungle animals).
- 3D Props: Basic 3D thematic props like faux stacked books, owl cages, or a red carpet runner with marigold borders.
Extensive Balloon Artistry
- Volume & Style: Dense organic arch over the backdrop, entrance pillars, and scattered floor balloons using 400 to 600+ premium balloons.
- Specialty Balloons: Integration of large theme specific character foil balloons and exact color palettes matched to the custom theme.
Execution & Logistics
- Consultation: Pre-event consultation to decide on fonts, images, and exact color palettes.
- Setup & Dismantling: Setup takes 3 to 4.5 hours with a 2 to 3 person team. Includes next day or post-event strike down of heavy structures. Custom cutouts with names are left for the client.

What I Can Do
- Birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, naming ceremonies - I’ve done them all. From a baby's first birthday to a big 25th anniversary, I know how to make each one feel different.
- You want a custom birthday party theme? Bas batao (just tell me). Harry Potter, Frozen, Doraemon, gaming, jungle, mermaid, butterfly - I’ve probably done it before, but I’m always up for something new.
How I Work
- I use all kinds of balloons: chrome, pastel, metallic, even custom foil letters for names and ages. Balloon decoration for events is my thing.
- Backdrops and props? Mil jayega (you’ll get it). Sequin walls, grass panels, life-size cutouts, whatever fits your theme.
- Lighting matters. I bring in marquee numbers, neon signs, fairy lights - all those little touches that make photos pop.
- Sometimes, I add fresh flowers, pampas grass, or fabric drapes for that extra classy look.

My Story
Hi, I'm Hemant. People mostly call me for decoration, but shaadi ka planning (wedding planning) bhi karta hoon. For me, every function is about making moments yaadgar (memorable). Festivals, culture, all that matters to me - you'll catch me sharing Holi or Diwali wishes on WhatsApp. I love sketching too - made a Lord Shiva drawing once. At the end, I just want to add some extra khushi (happiness) to your big day.
