Neonatal Rescue Care for Puppies and Kittens
From bottle-feeding newborn puppies to giving kittens a safe, warm space to grow, I provide around-the-clock care for the tiniest rescues in Panipat and Delhi NCR.
This video shows the different kinds of care my babies need. From bottle-feeding a tiny white puppy to giving medicine with a syringe and just offering a comforting hand, every small act of love matters.
This tiny newborn puppy needed a gentle cleaning after being rescued. I use warm water and soft cloths to make sure even the smallest babies are clean, comfortable, and feel cared for.
My rescue work is not just for cats and dogs. I found this tiny baby pigeon who had fallen from its nest. I am keeping it warm and safe until it is strong enough to be on its own.
Litter training a whole group of curious kittens. It's a messy but essential job. I am teaching them where to go so they will be well-behaved and ready for their future homes.
This little ginger kitten is just a few weeks old but is already so playful. Giving him a gentle belly rub in his cozy box bed is one of the simple joys of fostering.
When you are the only human in a room full of kittens, you become a living climbing frame. These little ones are practicing their pouncing and climbing skills on my leg.
Mr. Piddu, who is not even a month old, is already learning how to play-fight with his bigger foster brother. It is so cute to watch them interact and learn from each other.
About Special Care for the Little Ones
When I take in a newborn, it is a 24/7 commitment. I do not just provide shelter; I handle bottle feeding schedules every few hours, temperature management with heaters for cold nights, and essential medical monitoring. Every little soul here, whether they are a kitten or a puppy, gets a dedicated foster plan because they are not just animals to me; they are my own babies.
Neonatal rescue is not for the faint of heart, but it is the most rewarding part of my life. These tiny babies often arrive in a very fragile state, sometimes orphaned or separated from their mothers too early. My home setup is designed to mimic the care they would get from a mother cat or dog.
The Reality of Tiny Rescue
- Bottle Feeding & Nutrition: Kittens and puppies have very specific dietary needs. I manage the feeding schedules, ensuring they get the right supplements and hydration around the clock.
- Thermal Regulation: For very young animals, keeping them warm is literally a matter of life and death. I use blankets and heaters during the colder months in Delhi NCR to prevent them from going into shock.
- Medical Oversight: Whether it is a kitten with a fractured spine or a pup that needs deworming, I manage the medical protocol including necessary vaccinations and parasite control.
Why No Cages?
I firmly believe that animals, especially the little ones, heal faster when they are not stressed. Cages can be terrifying for a baby who has already been abandoned. My home is open, allowing them to crawl, climb, and eventually start playing with others. This socialization is key. You will often see them learning how to play-fight or climbing on me while I work. This helps them build confidence before they are ready for their forever homes. If you have found a kitten or puppy and are worried about how to provide this level of care, reach out. We can talk about what they need to thrive.
Dabbu Pet Boarding
I am Kajol, and my home is always filled with the sounds of kittens and puppies learning to play. I believe every rescued life deserves the warmth of a family, not a cold cage, which is why I foster and care for them right here with me.
