Elegant Reception & Engagement Stage Decor
I design backdrops that feel personal, not like a pre-made catalogue. Whether you want a modern floral arch or a grand themed stage, I build your setting from scratch to match your specific event vibe.
A beautiful and elegant circular floral arch for an indoor reception. This design uses peach and white roses against a backdrop of fairy lights, creating a warm and inviting focal point for the couple's seating.
This reception stage features a bold red sofa set against a peach-draped backdrop. The circular floral arrangement is accented with warm bulb lights, adding a touch of glamour to the outdoor setup.
A simple yet classic stage decoration for an intimate engagement. I used elegant beige drapes, a vintage-style sofa, and a thick floral runner with a small chandelier to create a sophisticated and timeless look.
A full floral ring stage setup for a reception. The arch is covered in red and white flowers, with soft white draping and dramatic blue and purple uplighting to create a vibrant, celebratory mood.
This is a classic stage setup for a convention hall wedding reception. I used a combination of gold and white drapes with floral arrangements on the top and sides, complemented by an ornate traditional sofa.
An elegant reception stage featuring an L-shaped floral arrangement. The combination of colorful flowers, white pillars, and a classic white sofa creates a balanced and sophisticated look for the main event.
A wide-angle view of a reception stage setup before the event. This shows the combination of a floral backdrop, elegant chandeliers, and a beautifully carved sofa, all ready for the couple.
About this collection
I don't just put up drapes. Whether it is a giant lotus motif or a classic floral arch, I build these structures from the ground up. I personally source materials—from artificial flowers that look real to specific lighting fixtures—from different cities to make sure your stage does not look like every other hall in Bangalore.
When you look at a wedding stage, it is easy to focus on the flowers. But as a decorator, I know that a stage is only as good as its frame. I focus on structural integrity and design balance.
For reception stages, I avoid the generic look. If you choose a lotus-themed setup, I ensure the fiber work is sharp and the lighting highlights the texture. If it is a traditional engagement, I use authentic elements like banana stems or brass urlis alongside the flowers.
My process is simple. You show me your inspo, and I handle the logistics. I am picky about quality because bad wiring or wilted flowers can ruin your photos. I check the paint on the panels, the stability of the truss, and the color coordination of the fabrics before I ever step into your venue.
What to consider for your stage:
- Lighting: Do not just settle for standard white wash lights. I often use LED PARs or warm fairy lights to soften the look, especially for evening receptions.
- Venue Flow: If you have a hall with limited space, a circular arch often works better than a massive 40ft rectangular backdrop. It keeps the focus on you, not the wall.
- Customisation: If you have a specific color palette—like peach and white or traditional gold—let me know early. It allows me to source the right fabric and floral shades from my suppliers so we are not scrambling at the last minute.
I do not offer the lowest market rates because I refuse to compromise on these details. My goal is for you to walk onto that stage and feel like it was built specifically for your moment.
