Curly Hair Transformations & Expert Care
See how we turn misunderstood, frizzy hair into defined, healthy curls. At Curl Talk, we don’t just style your hair—we teach you how to love it.
This is what embracing your curly crown looks like. With the right haircut and deep conditioning, we can bring out the best in your natural texture, leaving you with hydrated, bouncy, and beautifully defined curls.
It's stories like this that make my day. Hearing a client say she went from "jhadu to jadu" (broom to magic) is why I do what I do. My goal is not just to style your hair, but to empower you with the knowledge to care for it at home.
I was so honored to help this client who traveled all the way from Morocco. He was struggling to find a stylist who understood his type 4 coily hair. We focused on a specialized cut and deep moisture to bring his beautiful coils to life.
It was an absolute pleasure giving the talented actress Ritika Singh a curly makeover. We went for a cut that added shape and volume, styling it to create these soft, defined curls that perfectly frame her face.
So many clients are scared of getting a professional haircut, fearing they'll lose their length. I understand that fear, which is why I focus on healthy trims that remove damage while preserving as much length as possible, resulting in healthier, bouncier curls.
This is one of the most important things I teach: Frizz is not a hair type, it's just your hair asking for more moisture. This video shows how a proper hydration and styling routine can transform frizz into defined, healthy curls.
Teaching little ones to love their curls from a young age is so important. This cutie got a haircut and style that's easy for her parents to manage and lets her beautiful curls shine. Cuteness and curls overloaded.
This is the goal: a full head of beautifully defined, healthy, and hydrated curls. This result was achieved by understanding the client's specific hair type and creating a routine that she can replicate at home.
About Featured
Most people think their frizz is a permanent hair type, but it is often just your hair crying out for moisture. In these photos, you are not just seeing a temporary style, but the result of us identifying your specific curl pattern and porosity to build a routine that actually works at home, not just in the salon chair.
When you walk into our Chembur studio, we don't just 'do' your hair. We diagnose it. My work is built on the reality that curly hair needs a different language than straight hair. We use dry cutting techniques because we need to see how your hair sits naturally, not how it behaves when pulled tight or weighed down by water.
From clients struggling with damaged ends to those who were told their hair was 'like a broom,' we focus on getting the health back first. My goal is to get you to a place where you understand your hair's needs—whether it's protein, moisture, or simply a better way to detangle.
If you are coming to us for a consultation, we dive into your curl type, density, and damage history. If you are here for a full routine and hands-on lesson, we actually walk you through the 'squish-to-condish' method, styling techniques, and how to use a diffuser so you can replicate those salon results on your own. My job is done when you stop fighting your hair and start embracing your crown.
Curl Talk By Christina
I'm Christina, and I've been exactly where you are—frustrated with hair that just wouldn't cooperate. I started this space in Chembur because I believe your curls shouldn't be hidden; they deserve a routine that makes them bounce, not just survive.
