Stories of Rescue and Recovery

Beyond our sterilization drives, we are here to support every street animal in need. From emergency trauma care to helping abandoned pets find their forever homes, see the real impact of our work in Bangalore.

This is Gopi. He was abandoned by his family and found trying to board a bus, likely looking for them. We rescued him, treated him at our Trauma Centre, and had him neutered. He is now in a foster home, a happy and healthy boy waiting for a forever family that won't let him down.

For pet parents, a to-do list often includes grooming, vaccinations, and check-ups. We encourage every responsible pet parent to add "schedule the neutering appointment" to that list. It's a key part of responsible pet ownership, and our Small Animal Hospital can help.

About this collection

Take Gopi, for instance. Abandoned and waiting for a bus in Ejipura, his story is one we see too often. Our team stepped in to provide urgent trauma care, complete his vaccinations, and eventually facilitate his move into a loving foster home. This is the core of our work: moving from crisis to a second chance.

Our Approach: Compassion Plus Action

We believe that animal welfare requires more than just good intentions. It demands rigorous scientific methods, legal advocacy, and direct, on-the-ground support. For over three decades, our team has been the primary responder for animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Emergency Trauma Care

Our trauma centers are equipped to handle critical cases. Whether it is a hit-and-run, abandonment, or untreated illness, our vets and volunteers work day and night. We don't just treat wounds; we provide the long-term rehabilitation needed for these animals to regain their confidence and health.

Adoption and Fostering

Many of the dogs and cats we rescue end up in our care because they were let down by their previous families. We are committed to finding them new, permanent homes. If you are looking to adopt, our process is focused on the right match. We also have a dedicated program for senior and special-needs animals who often get overlooked but have so much love to give.

Legal Advocacy

Part of our mission is fighting for better laws. We provide legal guidance for animal cruelty cases and work to ensure that the Animal Birth Control (ABC) rules are enforced across Karnataka. If you are a community feeder or caregiver facing harassment, we are here to support you with the legal backing you need.

How You Can Help

We are a volunteer-powered organization. If you are in Bangalore and want to make a difference, there are many ways to engage with our work beyond just donating. From fostering a puppy to reporting cruelty, your actions contribute to a city where animals are treated with respect.
