Take the granny square pouch, for instance. I often get asked how I join the squares, and it really comes down to utility. If you want a sleeker finish for your cards and cash, I stitch the right sides together. But if you need more room for essentials like lip balm, a sanitizer bottle, or medication, I join them with the wrong sides facing. This creates a decorative edge and gives the pouch that extra bit of space. It is a small choice, but it changes how you use the product every day.
