This old denim jacket was just sitting in my closet, but I couldn't let it go. Inspired by one of my favorite artists, Frida Kahlo, I gave it a new story with this crocheted flower hairdo. It’s now a piece of wearable art that is completely, uniquely mine.

Giving Your Old Favourites New Life
Fast fashion is easy, but it is often forgettable. My favourite projects are the ones with history—that denim jacket you wore on every college trip, or that comfy cotton tee you have had for years. By adding crochet elements, we are not just decorating; we are extending the life of your wardrobe.
How We Work Together
- Appliqué vs. Structural: For cotton tees, I usually go with small, quirky appliqués—little hearts, sunflowers, or fruits that add character without adding weight. For heavy pieces like denim jackets, I work on structural redesigns. This often involves 3D motifs or freeform crochet panels.
- The Process: You share a photo of your item, and we do some gup shup (casual chat) about colours and your specific ideas. Once I receive the piece, I get to work. This is slow, hand-done art, so it requires a bit of patience.
- Care Instructions: I include a specialized care card with every piece because crochet is delicate. You will need to hand-wash or dry-clean specifically to keep the yarn from pilling or loosening.
