Cricket Success Stories from Delhi Cricket Hub
Seeing my students smash centuries and bag match-winning hauls is why I coach. Here are the DCH champions who put in the work and made it count.
A record-shattering day for the academy. My student Laksh Narang smashed a massive 212 runs in the DDCA Under 16 league. This is the result of countless hours of practice and a winning mindset.
Two champions in one frame. Laksh Narang and Saiansh Vohra, both of whom delivered historic performances in the same DDCA U-16 match. I am immensely proud to coach such dedicated future stars.
The scoreboard tells the story. A massive 212 runs off 149 balls by Laksh Narang. This is the kind of aggressive and dominant batting we train for at the academy.
Pointing to the badge with pride. Laksh Narang and Saiansh Vohra represent the quality and spirit of the Delhi Cricket Hub. Their record-breaking performances make all the hard work worth it.
An all-round performance for the history books. Saiansh Vohra not only scored 168 runs but also took all 10 wickets in the match. This MVP performance is a testament to his incredible skill and dedication.
The match ball that made history. This ball represents all 10 wickets taken by Saiansh Vohra in a single DDCA U-16 innings. A truly unforgettable achievement.
Not just a bowler, but a complete cricketer. Saiansh Vohra backed up his 10-wicket haul with a brilliant 168 runs. We focus on developing all-round skills to create versatile players.
A huge moment for us. Saiansh Vora's hard work paid off with his selection into the DDCA U-16 team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy. His 10-wicket haul was a major factor, and I couldn't be prouder.
The results speak for themselves. Five of my players were picked in the Delhi Premier League auctions. This shows the pathway we provide from dedicated training to professional T20 leagues.
Proud to see my fast bowler Anshuman Hooda selected for the South Delhi Superstars in the Delhi Premier League. His dedication to pace and fitness is paying off.
About Our Champions: Student Success Stories
Talent gets you noticed, but the DDCA U-16 and Delhi Premier League (DPL) selections you see here happened because we grinded through specific technical drills. Whether it is mastering a fast bowler's landing position or building a batsman's shot selection for high-pressure chases, my boys put in 3 to 4 hours of training daily. If you want to play at this level, get ready for the hard yards because there are no shortcuts.
From Academy Drills to the Big Leagues
My definition of success is simple. It is the moment a student goes from struggling with basic technique to hitting a century in a DDCA league match. I don't believe in just filling slots; I believe in creating cricketers who can handle pressure.
We don't just practice; we simulate match scenarios. When my students like Anshuman Hooda hit 140 kmph in the DPL or Laksh Narang scores a massive 212, it is the result of:
- Technical Correction: Using video analysis to fix front elbow positions and loading stances.
- Pressure Training: High-volume ball feeding (200-300 balls per hour) during 1-on-1 sessions.
- Physical Conditioning: A mandatory 45-minute athletic training block daily to build agility and stamina.
Why the DCH Approach Works
Many academies focus on just 'getting overs in.' That is a waste of time. At Delhi Cricket Hub, we track performance stats. If a player is selected for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy or the DPL, it is because we identified their specific defect, fixed it, and tracked their progress over months, not days. We have 5 pitches including turf, astro, and cement to ensure practice never stops, regardless of the weather in Delhi.
Whether you are a beginner looking to understand your batting stance or an intermediate player eyeing state-level selection, the process remains the same: discipline, sweat, and honest feedback. If you are ready to be a part of a squad that treats every match like a final, come join the family.
