Hand-Painted Decorative Coasters & Mini Canvas Art
Art doesn't need to be huge to change the mood of a room. These small, hand-painted pieces are my way of bringing a little extra joy to your everyday table or desk space.
Here's an idea for displaying smaller art. This intricately painted MDF coaster becomes a beautiful miniature artwork when mounted and hung on the wall.
A short video showing a finished decorative coaster with a vintage floral design. I used a decoupage technique to create this textured, rustic look.
A close up of me painting a detailed floral pattern on a small coaster. Even on a small surface, I focus on making every line and color choice intentional and beautiful.
About Decorative Coasters & Small Art
When you hold one of these coasters, you feel the texture of hand-painted layers sealed under high-gloss resin. I use 3mm thick MDF so they are not just pretty to look at but durable enough to handle your morning coffee or tea without fading or peeling.
Art is a form of play for me. Whether it is a set of coasters or a 6-inch mini canvas, every stroke is intentional and filled with patience.
Why I focus on small art I love painting things people might otherwise walk past. A floral pattern on a coaster or a tiny landscape on a round canvas can change the energy of a room. These pieces are meant to be held, used, and appreciated up close.
The material that lasts I use sturdy 3-4mm MDF board because it holds paint beautifully. For the coasters, I apply a layer of high-gloss resin after painting. This is not just for the shine; it acts as a protective shield against heat and water, so you can actually use them daily. The varnish on my mini canvases is UV-resistant, keeping the colors vibrant for a long time.
Making it yours I love working on custom floral motifs, abstract swirls, or miniature landscapes. If you have a specific color palette in your living room, let me know, and we can match the design to your space. These make perfect gifts for friends or a small, meaningful touch for your own home.
Care tips While the resin makes the coasters water-resistant, it is best to wipe them with a soft, damp cloth instead of soaking them in water. Treat them like a piece of art, and they will stay beautiful for years to come. Chalo koina smit nu karan banie (Let's become the reason for someone's smile).
