Handmade Baby Albums: Capture Every Precious Milestone

When you send over your photos, do not stress about sending only the 'perfect' shots. Some of my favorite albums come together when parents send a mix of professional shoots and those blurry, real-life candids of the baby sleeping or just being grumpy. The best albums tell the whole story, not just the posed ones.

A baby’s first year is a blur of sleepless nights and tiny milestones, and by the time you realize it, they are already running around. I started making these personalized baby albums because I wanted to create a place for all those phone photos that never see the light of day.

Why go handmade?

Unlike store-bought frames or generic books, my albums are interactive. I use thick, durable cardstock that lasts through sticky toddler fingers and repeated readings. Each album is built with:

• Interactive elements: Pull-out tags for birth stats, hidden pockets for hospital bands or locks of hair, and flaps that reveal sweet messages.
• Personalization: From woodland themes, like the shaker window in the pictures here, to pastel florals, I tailor the aesthetic to match the vibe you want.
• Structure: Usually 10-12 pages, but we can expand based on how many memories you have collected.

The Process

It is simple. You share your folder of photos, and I arrange the layout. If you are not sure about a theme, tell me a bit about your baby—are they your little adventurer? Your sleepy bear? I design the spread to match their personality. Everything is hand-cut, layered, and decorated with love by my team of women artisans here in Yelahanka.
