Student Success Stories: Kids Building Apps and Games
Every child is a potential creator. See how our students are turning screen time into skill time by building real-world apps, games, and innovative solutions.
Our 11-year-old student, Randitya, developed the 'AlertX' app to help send emergency notifications for the elderly. We are incredibly proud that his project, which solves a real-world problem, went on to win the Google Code Competition.
At just nine years old, our student Ahan Chadha developed and published his own AI Math Quiz App on the Google Play Store. This video celebrates his journey from learning to code to becoming a published app creator.
We are so proud of our 10-year-old coder, Jahaan, who designed and built the 'DonationBox' app. His project uses a unique algorithm to help organize and gather donations for community events.
About Student Success Stories
It is not about the hours spent in front of a screen, but what happens during them. When a 9-year-old publishes an AI Math Quiz on the Play Store or an 11-year-old builds a safety app like AlertX, they are not just memorizing syntax. They are learning to identify problems, structure their logic, and bring a solution to life. This is the shift from passive consumer to active creator we aim for in every session.
How We Build Creators
At CodeShala, we replace boring lectures with project-based learning. Whether your child is 5 or 15, we help them transition from playing games to designing them.
The Learning Journey
We focus on 'learning by doing.' Our students don't just follow instructions; they solve real problems.
- Junior (Age 5-8): We start with storytelling and animation using Scratch to build fundamental logic skills.
- Middle (Age 9-12): This is where students jump into Mobile App Development (using MIT App Inventor) or Game Design. This is the age where many of our students publish their first apps.
- Senior (Age 13+): We move to text-based coding in Python, Java, or Web Development, preparing students for real-world projects and technical competitions.
Flexible Learning Options
We understand that busy schedules are a reality for families today. We offer:
- Virtual 1:1 Sessions: Private classes via live video call, giving your child dedicated attention and a custom pace.
- In-Person Bootcamps: Small group workshops across Delhi-NCR (Hauz Khas, South Ex, Pitampura) where kids collaborate and learn to troubleshoot in a classroom setting.
Outcomes
Every module is designed to result in a functional Capstone Project—an app, game, or website—that your child can call their own. They walk away with a portfolio of work and a certificate, but more importantly, they walk away with the confidence that they can build anything they imagine.
