Our Climbing Festivals and Community Events
From our annual gatherings in Hampi to local festivals like Gritfest, our events are where we really connect. Come climb, learn, and find your crew in a space that is 100% focused on women’s empowerment.
A moment of rest and gratitude on Earth Day. Our community is built on a foundation of love for nature and the beautiful rocks we get to climb.
On our way to the crag, carrying the crash pads that will keep us safe. We are thankful for the outdoor spaces that allow us to pursue our passion.
The approach to the boulders is part of the adventure. We are grateful for every step of the journey that brings us closer to the rocks.
Another shot of our crew on the move. Our events are a chance to explore stunning landscapes and appreciate the beauty of our planet.
Walking through the boulder fields of Hampi, we are reminded of how lucky we are to have these natural playgrounds.
Taking a moment to soak it all in. The friendships and memories made at our events are as lasting as the rocks themselves.
We took CLAW to Pokhara, Nepal for Women's Day! This video captures the incredible energy of the session, filled with climbing, slacklining, dancing, and so many smiles.
We were so excited to collaborate with the climbing community in Pokhara, Nepal for a special International Women's Day event.
Our team member represented CLAW at the free climbing session in Nepal, helping to welcome over 100 women to the sport.
We loved being a part of Gritfest at Dhauj! This festival is special for its amazing rock, beautiful sunsets, and fantastic community.
About Our Events & Festivals
When you join a CLAW festival, you aren't just showing up for a climb. We turn places like Hampi or the rocks at Dhauj into a shared space where you can try slacklining, do morning yoga, or just sit by the crag and cheer on other women. You don’t need to be an expert to fit in here, we’re all about the messy, real process of figuring out a route together and having a laugh when we fall.
More Than Just Climbing
Our festivals are built on one simple idea, making the outdoors a space where women can take up room. Whether we are hosting our OG annual gathering in Hampi or hitting up local events like Gritfest, the goal is always the same: to create a safe, supportive environment where you can push your limits without feeling judged.
What to Expect
- Community First: These aren't high-pressure training camps. They are multi-day gatherings packed with climbing, workshops, and plenty of downtime to connect with other women who are just as stoked as you are.
- Skills & Safety: We bring all the technical stuff, from La Sportiva shoes to Petzl helmets and high-density Gipfel crash pads. Our team leaders are there to guide you through route reading, safety commands, and how to spot each other properly.
- All Levels Welcome: Whether you’ve never touched a rock before or you’ve been crushing climbs for years, there is a spot for you. We focus on that beginner-friendly vibe, keeping things chill and fun.
Getting Outdoors
We are big on Leave No Trace principles, so while we explore beautiful destinations like the boulder fields of Hampi or the crags in Dhauj, we make sure we leave them exactly as we found them. Our festivals are about falling, laughing, getting scared, and ultimately feeling that rush of empowerment when you nail a climb and hear your crew shouting for you.
Keep an eye on this page for our upcoming announcements. Chale!
