About Climbing Workshops & Local Meetups
Why We Climb Together
At CLAW, we believe climbing is more than just a workout or a sport - it’s about finding your people. Our meetups are for women who want to feel strong, nervous, goofy, or all of that at once, without anyone telling us how we “should” be. Here, you can stumble, cheer wildly, and just have fun with a real women's climbing community.
What Happens at Our Meetups
We meet up at local gyms in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Expect a chill vibe - no competition, just support. Each session usually runs 2-3 hours:
- First hour is for absolute beginners. We break down the basics of bouldering, top-rope, safety, tying knots, and belaying. If you’ve never touched a wall before, that’s totally fine.
- After that, everyone climbs together. We swap beta, laugh, and push each other (but only if you want).
- No climbing gear? No tension yaar, we sort you out with shoes and harness.
Who Shows Up
Never climbed? Or been sending hard for years? Doesn’t matter. Our beginner climbing workshops are for anyone who feels even a little curious. The only thing you need is a bit of excitement (and maybe a water bottle).
Why It Matters
Honestly, it’s not just about making it to the top. It's about building a sisterhood, supporting each other, and feeling like you belong. Come for the climb, stay for the laughs. Chale, let’s get climbing!

My Story
We started CLAW thinking it was just about climbing, but turns out, it’s about so much more. Growing up, girls here get told—don't be too loud, don't take up space. We wanted to flip that. Here, you can fall, laugh, get scared, and there’s always a bunch of women shouting for you, giving you that big group hug energy. We’re an NGO, making the outdoors safe and real for every woman. One but never alone, that's us.
My Work
What We Offer - Women-only climbing workshops, beginner-friendly bouldering sessions, community meetups, and our big outdoor climbing festivals in Hampi.
No Experience Needed - Never climbed before? Doesn't matter. If you’re curious, you’re in. We teach you everything, step by step.
Our Vibe - It’s not just about climbing—it's about cheering each other, learning, and finding your crew. Come as you are.
More Than Climbing - We’re an NGO breaking stereotypes, making a safe climbing environment for women. Sometimes yoga, sometimes slackline, always community.
