About Climbing on Real Rock
Real rock climbing is about more than just strength; it's about learning to trust your feet on texture you just don't find in a gym. When you join us for an outdoor session, we don't just point to the wall and wish you luck. We handle the heavy lifting, providing the crash pads, the dedicated spotters, and the step-by-step guidance so you feel secure while you figure out your route. 🪨
Why Take It Outdoors?
If you have only climbed plastic holds in a gym, real rock is a total game-changer. The texture, the unpredictability, and the stunning surroundings make outdoor climbing a different beast entirely. It challenges your problem-solving skills and builds a type of confidence that carries over into your daily life.
Where We Climb
We focus on some of India's most iconic climbing destinations. From the bouldering paradise of Hampi to the rugged sport climbing walls of Badami and the gritstone potential at Dhauj, we take our community to spots that are as beautiful as they are challenging.
What To Expect
- Safety First: We run a tight ship. Our instructors focus on safety protocols, including spotting techniques for bouldering and proper belay setups for sport climbing. You are never left to figure it out alone.
- Gear Included: Don't worry about bringing a crash pad or ropes. We bring the gear so you can focus on the movement. If you’ve never used climbing shoes or chalk, we teach you how.
- The Community Vibe: Outdoor climbing with us is an event. We hike, we hang out, we watch the sunset, and we cheer until we’re hoarse. It is less about 'sending' a grade and more about the collective energy of women pushing themselves together.
Are You Ready?
Whether you are a complete beginner who has never touched real stone or someone who wants to find their outdoor crew, come as you are. No experience is needed. Chale, let's get climbing! 🤸🏽♀️
Climb Like a Woman
We’re CLAW, and we’re here to make the outdoors a space where women can be loud, sweaty, and entirely themselves. We started as a group of friends wanting to climb without the 'be a lady' noise, and now we’re building a nationwide sisterhood, one climb at a time. Come join us!
