About Our Gym Meetups

Forget the intimidation of a typical gym. Our sessions start with a 60-minute 'Intro to Climbing' where we actually teach you the basics like knot tying and safe falling, not just tell you to 'go climb.' We keep our instructor-to-participant ratio low, so you will always have someone watching your back while you navigate the wall.

Our Approach to Climbing

At CLAW, we believe climbing is more than just a workout. It is about finding your people. Our gym meetups are designed for women who want to feel strong, nervous, goofy, or all of that at once, without anyone telling us how we 'should' be.

What to Expect

Each session lasts 2-3 hours and is designed for all levels:

  • Beginners: The first hour is dedicated to you. We break down bouldering basics, top-rope safety, Figure-8 knots, and movement drills. Never touched a wall before? No tension yaar, you are exactly who we are here for.
  • Community Climbers: After the intro, we get straight to it. Swap beta, laugh, and push each other, but only if you want to. It is a supportive, non-competitive environment where we learn from each other.

Practical Details

  • Gear: Don't worry about gear. We provide rental-grade shoes, harnesses, and chalk. Just bring yourself and a water bottle.
  • Safety: We maintain a 1:6-8 instructor-to-participant ratio, so there is always an experienced set of eyes on the ropes.
  • Locations: We partner with local climbing gyms in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
