About Simply Beautiful Cakes
When you choose a simple design, there is nowhere for the taste to hide—the quality of the sponge and the freshness of the cream have to speak for themselves. I use a light whipped cream frosting that isn't overly sweet, which is a relief for many of my clients who find store-bought cakes too sugary or heavy.
I often hear that people want a cake that feels 'proper'—not just a fancy photo, but a dessert that tastes genuinely homemade. For these simpler designs, I focus on balancing the aesthetic with flavor profiles that actually work. While my classic Pineapple and Black Forest are reliable crowd-pleasers, I love creating unique Indian fusion options like Rasmalai for those who want a special twist.
Everything I bake is made fresh in my own kitchen in Vasai, so your cake isn't sitting on a shelf waiting for a buyer. Because I handle everything from the sponge base to the final piping, I can be quite flexible. If you have a specific color theme, want a message written in a certain style, or need to adjust the sweetness, just let me know. I prefer to keep the toppings fresh—using seasonal fruits like Kiwi or Dragon Fruit whenever possible—rather than relying on heavy syrups.
