About Posed Newborn Portraits
A professional newborn session is never a quick snap. We dedicate 3 to 4 hours per booking in our Electronic City studio because your baby dictates the pace. This time allows us to handle feeding, soothing, and gentle posing safely, ensuring that your baby remains calm while we capture those fleeting details.
Safety is our primary concern. With two of us present—Chitra and Deepak—one person focuses exclusively on the baby's safety and posing, while the other handles lighting and composition. We use specialized bean bag poses, props like nests and swings, and carefully sanitized wraps to create a secure, womb-like environment.
The transition from the delivery room to a photo session can be overwhelming. We keep our studio temperature controlled and quiet to mimic a soothing environment. Parents often ask about the 'posed' look; it involves patience, light swaddling, and waiting for the baby to settle into natural, curled-up positions.
Each session includes three distinct setups, blending rustic textures with soft, floral, or minimalist backdrops. We also incorporate family portraits to capture the connection between parents and their newest member. Because newborns are most pliable and sleepy in their first 14 days, we recommend booking well in advance of your due date.
Our studio in Electronic City is equipped with a premium wardrobe for mom and an extensive prop stash for the baby. You do not need to bring outfits; we handle the styling, coordination, and the cleanup so you can focus on the moment.
