About this collection
Everyone asks me for the secret behind that dark, rich stain, and honestly, it is just patience and pure ingredients. I prepare my own henna paste using only natural leaves and essential oils, skipping all those harsh chemicals that often cause skin irritation or uneven color. When you see that deep maroon shade, you know it is 100% authentic and safe for your skin.
Getting that 'on point' mehendi stain is a mix of high-quality paste and the right aftercare. Because I use only fresh, organic henna without any chemicals, the color relies on how well you treat the henna while it is on your skin.
My process involves a careful application of a natural lemon-sugar sealant once the henna dries, which helps lock in the moisture and heat. For my brides, I also provide taping and wrapping services to keep the henna warm overnight, which is crucial for the pigment to darken beautifully.
What to expect:
- The 48-hour rule: Your henna will look orange at first—that is totally normal! It typically takes 24 to 48 hours for the oxygen to react with the lawsone dye in the henna and turn that deep, rich maroon.
- Avoid water: Try to keep the area away from water for the first few hours after scraping off the dried paste.
- Natural warmth: Keep your hands warm. Heat helps the stain develop much darker, which is why we wrap it up.
Remember, no chemicals, no shortcuts. Just pure ingredients for a stain that lasts and stays vibrant. 🧿
