On portfolio days at my academy, I do not assist with the actual application. My students fix their own mistakes because that is where real learning happens. You are working with your own hands, not watching a screen, so you learn exactly how to handle different skin tones and eye shapes in real-time.
I believe there is far too much gatekeeping in this industry. When you train with me, I teach you the logic behind the makeup—why a specific product works, how to handle humid weather without the base melting, and why skin prep is non-negotiable. My batches are strictly limited to 10 students so you aren't just a face in the crowd. You get 5-hour detailed demos where you see every texture and technique up close.
