This is the first impression for potential clients, a curated glimpse into the heart of my work. It showcases the breadth of my skills, from large statement furniture to intricate wall art, all bound by a love for heritage and restoration. Each piece tells a story of transformation.
Kalamkari & Temple Art Trunks
I breathe new life into vintage trunks, transforming them into functional statement pieces for your home. Each trunk is carefully restored and then hand-painted with intricate designs inspired by South Indian temple art and Kalamkari traditions, ensuring no two pieces are ever the same.
Custom Memory Boxes
These tabletop boxes are crafted from salvaged teak to hold your letters, jewelry, and keepsakes. I combine hand-painting and decoupage with a variety of inspirations, from colonial portraiture to Banjara textiles, creating nostalgic and personal pieces for your home.
The Devi Triptych: Pattachitra Inspired Frames
This series of three restored clock frames is a homage to the divine feminine. Each piece is dedicated to a different goddess: Durga, Laxmi, and Kaali. I used the vibrant and narrative style of Pattachitra art to hand-paint the frames, adorning them with found-object trims to create unique, dreamcatcher-like wall hangings.
From Salvage to Story: A Camphor Panel's Journey
Witness the complete transformation of a single piece of architectural salvage. This is the story of how a discarded camphor wood panel, broken and worn, was meticulously restored and reimagined into a magnificent piece of fine art depicting the stories of Krishna.
Heirloom Prabhavali Transformations
I specialize in creating bespoke artwork for your family's heirloom prabhavalis (temple arches). I work with you to choose a theme, then create a custom digital or hand-painted piece, often inspired by Tanjore, Company School, or miniature painting styles, and frame it on luxurious Banarasi silk.
Modular Pichwai Wall Art
This is my innovative take on traditional Pichwai paintings. I create sets of modular wooden blocks that can be stacked or arranged on your wall in any way you like. This format makes the art interactive, versatile, and easy to ship, without compromising on the beauty of Pichwai themes like Shrinathji and his beloved cows.
