About Interactive Live Stations
My live stations are designed to be the focal points of your event, rather than just side setups. Whether it is the rhythmic clatter of a Teppanyaki grill or the aroma of fresh Tandoori Pizza, these stations require a minimum operational space of 10x10 feet to ensure my chefs can perform safely and your guests can watch the action comfortably without blocking the flow of the venue.
Why Live Stations Change the Energy
A static buffet line is functional, but a live station is theatre. When I set up a live counter, I am not just serving food; I am inviting your guests into the kitchen. People love to see their meal come together—the precise flip of a dosa, the searing heat of a Teppanyaki grill, or the careful assembly of a Dim Sum basket.
My Signature Setup Approaches
- Teppanyaki & Grills: I bring the high-heat excitement of Japanese-style grilling to your venue. It’s loud, it’s fast, and it fills the room with the scent of spices and char. Perfect for cocktail hours.
- Chaat Galli: This is about nostalgia. I recreate the street-side energy with hygienically managed counters serving everything from Karari Aloo Tikki to classic Pani Puri.
- Fusion & Global: I enjoy taking the familiar and tweaking it. My Tandoori Paneer Pizza is a staple, combining the smoky crispness of a clay oven with the comfort of melted cheese and spiced veggies.
Practical Planning for Your Venue
When we plan your event, keep in mind that live stations are more than just a table. They are a staging area.
- Ventilation & Power: Live cooking means smoke and electricity. I need to coordinate with your venue manager early to ensure we have adequate exhaust and reliable power points for my induction or gas setups.
- Crowd Management: Stations like the live Dosa counter draw crowds. I prefer placing these away from the main entrance to prevent bottlenecks, ensuring your guests can queue up while still enjoying the music and the party.
Whether you are planning a traditional Maharashtrian 'Pangat' or a modern corporate cocktail evening, let's pick stations that get people talking and, more importantly, eating.
Chaitanya Caterers
I am Chaitanya, and I have been turning ingredients into stories since 1992. For me, a live counter is the heart of a party—it is where the smells, the sizzle, and the conversation happen. If you want food that gets people talking as much as it fills them up, let’s chat.
