Traditional Diwali Rangoli
I bring the festival of lights to your doorstep with vibrant, hand-drawn rangoli. From classic floral motifs to traditional kandil lanterns, I create festive art that welcomes prosperity right at your entrance.
A complete traditional Diwali rangoli featuring a 'kalash', Goddess Lakshmi's footprints, a diya, and a 'kandil', with "Shubh Deepavali" written in Marathi. This design is perfect for a home entrance.
This circular rangoli has a bright yellow base to make the colors pop. It features a large central diya, floral patterns, and a "Happy Diwali" greeting, all enclosed in a delicate white lace-like border.
A symmetrical design featuring a pair of peacocks, a large lotus flower, and small diyas. This style of rangoli is balanced and colorful, ideal for a central space in a home.
A simple yet elegant Diwali design with flowers, a diya, and a 'kandil' lantern. The "Shubh Deepavali" message in Marathi adds an authentic touch to the festive decor.

A detail shot of the diya and 'kandil' elements. The layering of colors within the diya flame and the geometric pattern of the lantern show the careful handiwork involved.
A beautiful peacock set against a sun-like orange and yellow background. The peacock is a popular motif in Indian folk art, symbolizing grace and beauty.

About Traditional Diwali Rangoli
Every pattern I lay down is done freehand. I don't use stencils, so you get a design that is naturally balanced and unique to your specific space. Whether you need a small 3x3 ft piece for a doorway or a larger arrangement for your living room, the color blending is done right there on your floor to ensure the pigments stay fresh and vibrant.
When we plan your Diwali rangoli, I focus on the 'Shubh Deepavali' vibe. I use fine-grain limestone powder mixed with high-pigment synthetic colors that hold their intensity against the foot traffic of a busy festival day.
A standard design usually takes me between 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete. I prefer working in quiet, cleared corners so I can focus on the details of the diya flame or the intricate petals of a lotus without interruption.
What I Offer
- Classic Motifs: Peacocks, lotuses, and hibiscus flowers.
- Festive Symbols: Lakshmi footprints and kandil lanterns.
- Custom Text: I can add 'Shubh Deepavali' or family names in crisp, clear calligraphy.
Logistics
I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area to set these up. If you are planning a corporate office event, I can also integrate your brand logo seamlessly into a larger 8x8 ft or 10x10 ft installation. Just let me know your floor dimensions and the main gathering area, and I will sketch a layout that fits perfectly.
