Discipline is about clear communication, not force. Whether you need guidance at your home or intensive residential training at our Nandi Hills facility, I help you build a focused, happy companion.

This video shows the difference training makes. You can see the dog's focus with the trainer versus the parent. My goal is to transfer that same level of obedience and connection to you, the owner.

A reliable recall is non-negotiable for a dog's safety. Here, I'm training a Golden Retriever puppy on whistle recall in my open field. A whistle provides a clear, consistent sound that cuts through distractions.

This is what a structured walk looks like. The dog, Pixie, is walking calmly by my side without pulling. This 'heel' position is fundamental for enjoyable and controlled walks, which I teach in my obedience courses.

Focused heeling is an advanced obedience skill where the dog maintains eye contact while walking. I use a touch pad to build this behavior step by step, creating a dog that is completely tuned in to its handler.

Heel work is the foundation of a good walk. Here, I'm practicing with Tom inside our kennel area, a space with different acoustics and distractions. A dog must learn to obey in all environments.

This is another angle of our focused heel work practice. Notice how the dog is looking up, waiting for the next command. This level of attention is what I strive for in my training programs.

The 'place' command teaches a dog to go to a designated spot and stay there. Here, I'm introducing the command to a young puppy at home, a vital skill for managing behavior around guests or during meal times.

This German Shepherd is demonstrating perfect obedience by responding to the 'settle' command in its own home. This is a practical skill I teach to help dogs relax and be calm indoors.

This puppy, Romeo, is showcasing a sequence of commands: sit, down, stand, and spin. This demonstrates how basic obedience can be chained together to create a highly responsive and intelligent companion.

Teaching a dog to jump through a loop starts with small steps. Here, I'm luring a puppy through my hands, building the foundation for the final trick. Patience and progression are key.

About Obedience Training: At Home & Our Resort

My training method isn't about repeating a command until you are hoarse. I use the One Command rule: you say it once, you wait for compliance, and you reward. If you are constantly nagging your dog to sit or come without results, it is not the dog's stubbornness, it is simply a lack of clear communication. Whether we are working on your kitchen floor or out at my Nandi Hills facility, my job is to help you stop negotiating with your dog and start leading.
