Why I love outdoor sessions

There is something magical about getting out of the studio. While my studio sessions are perfect for precise lighting and control, outdoor adventures allow your children to actually run, explore, and be kids. We don't do stiff, forced poses here. Instead, I focus on the connection, the movement, and the laughter that happens when you are surrounded by nature.

The Golden Hour Guarantee

I plan every outdoor shoot around the 'Golden Hour'—that specific time just after sunrise or right before sunset when the light is warm, soft, and cinematic. This is non-negotiable for me because it is the secret to those dreamy, glowing portraits that require very little editing. If the weather is uncooperative, we will always reschedule to ensure we get that quality of light.

What to expect on location

We usually head to the quieter outskirts of Bangalore where we have space to breathe. I bring minimal, rustic props like teepee tents, wooden benches, or vintage crates that complement the natural environment rather than distracting from it. Since this is an unscripted environment, I encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. If you are worried about the kids getting restless, don't be. Nature is the best distraction, and I am happy to pause whenever we need a snack break or a moment to just look at the trees.
