Instead of a studio backdrop, these sessions rely on the golden hour. We shoot at sunrise or sunset to catch that soft, natural light. I transport all the rustic props, like teepees and wooden rocking horses, to scenic locations on the outskirts of Bangalore, so you only need to focus on your family.
Sunlit outdoor sessions bring a different energy to family photography. While the studio is perfect for controlled lighting, there is a specific magic to shooting in a park or open field during the golden hour. It allows for a sense of movement and freedom that is difficult to replicate indoors.
I aim to make these sessions entirely stress-free. Since we are moving outside, I take on the responsibility of managing the location logistics. Whether it is a quiet nature trail or an open field, I bring the props needed to build a warm, inviting scene, including picnic teepees, wooden crates, and soft blankets.
These sessions are designed for the entire family. It is the perfect opportunity to capture genuine interactions between parents and siblings, far away from the distractions of the city. We generally work around the outskirts of Bangalore, ensuring we get that soft, diffused light that only happens at the very start or end of the day. Because the light changes quickly, I work efficiently to keep the pace relaxed and comfortable for the children.
